“I fuck wit Drake,” he wrote. “He getting ready to come with some hard shit. You know the vibes n-gga.”
50 Cent’s comments arrive shortly after the pair linked up at a Miami nightclub over the weekend, just hours before Drake canceled his headlining set at Lollapalooza Brazil.
Although the rap superstars have yet to collaborate — musically or otherwise — Drake has credited 50 Cent as one of the main influences for him singing as a rapper.
“There’s people who inspired me, you know, obviously, 50 Cent,” he said during his Rap Radar interview in 2019. “’21 Questions’ would probably be my most inspiring example of a guy who’s not supposed to be singing, singing, and girls loving it and going crazy.”

Following his complimentary comments, Fif told Variety it was “the coolest shit in the world for [Drake] to say, because I can’t sing as good as he sings.”
In May 2022, 50 Cent again showered Drake with praise for reinventing himself as “Wheelchair Jimmy” in the teen drama Degrassi to making hit records as a musician.

“That boy @champagnepapi came wit it,” he wrote on Instagram while sharing a photo of Drizzy’s character wearing a 50 Cent shirt. “He got off that show and made some real fvcking hits man.”
The Power mogul previously revealed he wanted to collaborate with Drake during an interview with Shade 45 in 2014.
“I haven’t worked with Drake or Rihanna, and I’d like to work with them,” he said at the time. “They’re artists that do things that I don’t do. It’s a different thing. So we have to find the right song for us to be working with on each other.”
He continued: “I don’t think anyone can beat Drake at creating relationship-based content. And then Rihanna, I think there is a shortage of female solo artists. It’s Beyoncé, Rihanna and those other people. That’s the way the shit starting to feel me.”
